I am an athlete who has a passion with all things sports, fitness & health. I competed in endurance sports such as running and cycling for over 15 years and now I am training as a physique athlete and lifting lots of weights (and boy do I love it!).
Along with training for fitness and sports over the years, I have developed a keen understanding of how to optimise nutrition to maximise performance and to transform the body.
By changing what and how I eat, I began to lose fat and gain muscle mass. My energy levels also increased while my skin cleared up! Seriously, if you eat right – you really can clear up your skin from inside out.
When it comes to losing fat (the weight you want to lose), nutrition is 80%-90% of the game. The rest can be achieved with exercise – how you want to shape your body.
I am also a mother to an beautiful little girl who never ceases to amaze me. When I became pregnant with her, I gained over 55 pounds (25 kilos). For someone who is only 5’3.5″ (161 cm), this is ALOT of weight. After a year of eating specifically and exercising intelligently, I gained the knowledge of post-partum weight lost (while nursing). I am now in the best shape of my life and getting in better shape each and every day.
Furthermore, I also competed in my first bikini fitness competition in October 2014 and placed 2nd in two divisions! Bikini 35+ and Bikini Open! The reason I share this is that – motherhood isn’t an end all be all – it can open doors to what life is truly about – you and your dreams. And this a journey that I am continuing!
What’s important is this : I have been through the fat-loss, muscle building journey myself and I know what it takes to succeed – I know the ups and the downs – many ways around them. Since I personally experienced what you are likely going through, I understand your challenges and this allows me to coach you through any perceived obstacles that stand in your PATH.
It’s not an easy task to make changes but with the personal attention I can give, and your commitment, we can get results and reach your goals.
